The Story
Bergamot (CitrusĀ bergamia) essential oil has a lively, sweet aroma and the capacity to both elevate the spirit and encourage a peaceful, grounded disposition. It is often used for daytime diffusions, especially to inspire calm focus during work or school. It is also an excellent deodorizer and, because it is bergaptene-free, is safe to use in body care products as well.
Like other citrus oils, bergamot is obtained by cold expression of the peels of unripe fruits.
*Some ingredients, while natural, may still cause allergic reactions. We recommend conducting a patch test for at least 48 hours in a small hidden area of your skin to test for any potential adverse reactions.
Pure essential oils are potent and are not recommended for ingestion or for undiluted topical applications.
